EAR CONING
Ear coning is a natural ear healing technique that began centuries ago, possibly in ancient Egypt. The practitioner uses a hollow, waxed, cloth candle. Candling assists in the removal of earwax and may lead to an improvement of sinus problems, sore throat, earache, swimmer's ear, chronic headaches, allergies, and hearing difficulty. The candle is gently placed in the ear, then the exterior end is lit. The low flame of the wick creates a slow vacuum, which softens and vacuums the old wax into the hollow base of the candle.
